Nancy’s real estate consulting business started in the fall of 2003 with a desire to leave her secure fulltime job in exchange for nights of worry and fretting about ever getting a paycheque again. That lasted about 72 hours as she had in her hands her first contract. Seven days later when the sale became firm, she confessed to the other realtor that it was her first “deal”. When the big name realtor did not believe her, Nancy knew at that moment she was officially crowned “Expert” as a result of the years she invested as a property manager in her previous career.
Today she is enjoying a well established business with an extensive list of raving fans. Her endless motivation to commit to delivering the highest personal and professional experience is magnified by this era of big box stores and telephone auto responders. Five Things About Nancy That Might Surprise You

As a child, Nancy designed and built LEGO homes. She loved how the brightly coloured blocks would fit perfectly with each other and allow instant changes without any big mess. She looked forward to her birthday and Christmas knowing that there was always a new LEGO kit to add to her ever growing collection. It is no wonder that as an adult Nancy has a keen interest in architecture and design. Her gifted eye for detail ensures her clients will make smart and safe investment decisions when buying or selling their home. Nancy’s knack for pinpointing what has resale value or what needs to be changed to maximize profits is second nature for her. This is one of her many unique traits creating her passion to be a “Trusted Advisor, Master Marketer & Skillful Negotiator” or in other words.... a Dream Maker.
When Nancy was nine years old, her father was given two years to live. She used her humour, intuition, and self reliance to survive this formidable time and the years following his passing. She quickly realized that one must take care of themselves, but at that same time she learned that it was a vital piece of one’s life journey to ask for help when needed. She is grateful for the time she had with her father, and is thankful for his gifts of ingenuity, efficiency and creativity that he passed onto her. These gifts have proven to be invaluable to her clients as they are blocks of Nancy’s business foundation resulting in effective, powerful and proven strategies to guarantee their successful and happy sale.
- Nancy is a ginormous health enthusiast. As a young adult she pondered why she was always sick and underweight when other classmates were not. This took her on an incredible path in the following decades to turn her health around. She read as many books possible, discovered eastern & western health practitioners, experimenting with those until she found what worked for her. She is the healthiest, strongest and most fit she has ever been in her life. Today this experience has taught her that there are always options, answers and solutions when you believe change is possible. It is this same tenacity and focus that drives Nancy’s “get it done” attitude. Her client’s goals become her goals as she takes great pride in making their dreams come true.
Nancy loves to ride her Harley. She has been riding motorcycles since her twenties but it was her first Harley ride that hooked her to “Live to Ride”. She loves the freedom, relaxation, and the thrill of being able to go on the open road with nothing but her bike and a bed roll. She recently went to Palm Springs to pick up her second Harley and rode it back solo through Sedona, Las Vegas, Reno and home. Nancy uses the metaphor of riding to illustrate the real estate market; Smart risks for an ever changing market. Just like being on the road, Nancy understands for her clients it is the journey, not the destination, and therefore she guides them every step of the way, ensuring all is well for them so they feel confident and safe until they are “home.”

Continuing education is high on Nancy’s agenda and she completes many courses annually in order to stay on top of new technologies and changes in BC Real Estate. In 2007 she continued her Real Estate education and enrolled in the Broker’s Licensing Course at the University of BC. She is now licensed at the highest level possible in the British Columbia.
For almost four years Nancy also acted as the Managing Broker for her small RE/MAX office at 2 - 1012 Beach Avenue while maintaining a thriving real estate business. Nancy cherished this position as it taught her how to stay ahead of her competition and remain leading edge with advanced industry information, identifying instantly key market trends and changes, and becoming razor sharp with contract law and writing. She still has the corner office with the view but Nancy is happy that she can now devote 100% of her time serving her loyal clients and overseeing her real estate business.
